Rootpath
An on-call agent that finds the change behind an alert.

Rootpath is an on-call assistant. When an alert fires, it works out where the failure actually started, fixes it in the smallest way it can, checks that the fix worked, and writes down what happened so the next incident goes faster.
The service that pages you is rarely the one that broke. Checkout fails because a payment release two services down is bad, and finding that usually means an engineer reading logs one service at a time. Rootpath keeps a map of how the services depend on each other and follows it instead.
It only does small, well-understood things: flip a feature flag back, roll back a deploy, restart a service. Every action is rehearsed as a dry run first. It plugs into Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Early days, version 0.1.0, with a demo you can break at rootpath.iwhitebird.com.
